Adult Wheel - All Levels with James Thorne 

• $355.00+HST, includes clay and use of studio tools and glazes

• Students need to bring their own aprons and towels

• Whether you're a newcomer to the wheel or have minimal experience, James will guide you through fundamental skills such as centering, shaping a cylinder, crafting a pot, trimming, and glazing.
• Surface decoration techniques will also be explored.
• Come find your creative path!

James Thorne

James is a ceramic artist who teaches students across Ottawa and the Valley. He graduated from Nipissing University in 2015 with his Bachelor of Fine Arts and completed an internship with the North Bay Potters Guild. James also operated his own art gallery for several years. "My art practice focuses on exploring alternative wood firing techniques, developing local clays for glazes, tile work and site specific artwork." The following photos are samples of James's work.
