Adult Handbuilding and Surface Design - Unique and Artful Drinkware with Lenka Acreman

  • 3 weeks
  • $183.00+HST, includes 1/2 bag of clay and use of studio tools and glazes
  • Students need to bring their own aprons and towels

During this three week course you will craft your own set of two bowls, inspired by the beauty of nature.

  • Think soft textures, carved lines and organic details.
  • We will explore hand-building techniques and bring your pieces to life with layered textures and natural patterns.
  • Come get your hands dirty and leave with something beautifully imperfect.
  • No experience needed.

I was born and raised in Slovakia and immigrated to Canada in 1997. Growing up I always enjoyed different arts and crafts but only discovered ceramics and pottery here in Canada. I took my first pottery class in 2001 and it’s been my on and off passion ever since. Beside the love of creating something beautiful and useful out of a lump of clay,  that will potentially last hundreds of years, I also found a community of people whose friendship and knowledge I’ll treasure forever.
