Adult Wheel with James Thorne - The Summer Garden - Create a flower pot, light diffuser and wall fountain bird bath 

  • 6 weeks.  No class on August 3rd (Ontario Civic Stat Holiday)
  • $358.00+HST, includes a full bag clay and use of studio tools and glazes
  • Students need to bring their own aprons and towels
Spice up the backyard with some wondrous ceramic creations.
 
Join us this summer to make:
  • a flower pot for your favorite plants    
  • a tealight diffuser for late nights on the patio
  • and finally, a unique wall mounted bird bath, which James will show you how to turn into a fountain. (Note: parts not included. Participants would need to purchase their own pump and sealant).

Requirement: Must have taken at least one beginner class.


James Thorne

James is a ceramic artist who teaches students across Ottawa and the Valley. He graduated from Nipissing University in 2015 with his Bachelor of Fine Arts and completed an internship with the North Bay Potters Guild. James also operated his own art gallery for several years. "My art practice focuses on exploring alternative wood firing techniques, developing local clays for glazes, tile work and site specific artwork."
