Advancing your Pottery Through Design Development  with Jordan Danger

  • 355.00 plus HST, includes 1/2 bag of clay and use of studio tools and glazes
  • Students need to bring their own aprons and indoor shoes

Join artist Jordan Danger for a seven-week course designed for dedicated potters who already know their way around clay and want to make their finished pieces better.

  • This class focuses on how to plan, test, and improve your ideas before committing to a final piece. Throwers and handbuilders will both benefit from this course!

  • Using the simple form of a cup or mug and a theme of your choice, Jordan will guide you through a step-by-step process to help you push your work further. You’ll practice sketching on paper, sketching directly in clay, making test pieces (prototypes), and refining your designs before creating a final version.

  • By the end of the course, you’ll have a finished cup or mug with a shape and design that’s uniquely yours—and a process you can use again and again in your own practice. This course is best suited for potters with at least two years of experience, and is especially helpful for more experienced potters who feel stuck or want fresh inspiration.
